News out of Plymouth in the UK today is that another WW2 German bomb has been found during building works, and the whole area has been evacuated. We can only imagine how long it will take to defuse armaments in Ukraine, given that this process is still ongoing in the UK 85 years after the Battle of Britain ended.
Very true sadly. Moldovan sappers disarm many many bombs each year - often close to weekly during the planting season as farmers dig things up. Wars have very long tails...
