Hi Ion, I think that's fair, but probably not how you want air traffic controllers to function. Privatizing companies is great to get assets off the state books when (as you rightly say) they aren't monopolies. But there will always be some things that state enterprises can do well - and that there are strategic reasons to keep in state control.
In those cases - I really really think it's important that the government get serious about recruiting independent boards or at least some board members.
